I haven't been feeling up to keeping my blog current, many apologies. ;) I wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Year!
I'm actually doing quite well right now. Have you ever been afraid to say something out loud just in case the world might hear you and everything would go to hell in a handbasket? *ducking*
Right now I am in enrolled in a medical study on heart disease in women with low estrogen and I'm hoping that my participation helps. I also enrolled in the genetic study portion. Do people really refuse that on a regular basis? They seemed delighted that I agreed to join in. ??? I have two daughters and anything I can do to help resolve this mystery medical nightmare is a "good thing".

Hi Lisa, I've just added this to your 2006 comment but i thought i'd add it to the last post aswell. I hope this reaches you well x
I don't quite know where this message will end up. I spotted your post about carney syndrome in 2006, i know it's probably rather late but i was treated at the NIH in washington for Carney's. They have a protocol there under Dr Stratakis and i would imagine you can still be accepted through the internet. As there are less than 1000 people world wide they are very interested in checking people out. I have briefly read your blog, you've certainly been through it!! Feel free to contact me, i am one of the few Carney kids (now 36), minus adrenal glands(no longer have cushings), couple of strokes and heart surgery twice. Very content at the moment, a diagnosis was the best medicine and my body is being good.

.....another question. Do you have dark freckles anywhere but particularly on your mucosal layers, corner of your eyes. Some times mistaken for mascara by others!!
